Garage Sale Tips

DSC_0232

*Tag items a bit higher than you are willing to sell them for- most people will try to bargain with you.  Even if you tag an item as $1, people will want it for .50 !

*Separate tables by items- ie: toys, decorations, electronics, and so on.

*Reorganize tables as you sell items- presentation is important!

*Clothing will sell, but not for very much money.  Put jackets, dresses, and nicer pieces on hangers, if possible.  I separated other items such as pants, plain t-shirts, tank tops in laundry baskets and labeled "$2 Tees" and "$1 Tanks."
